Taste of Mexico again! Well that must mean this is my Anniversary Blog! Taste of Mexico 2014 was the first event ever to inspire me to start sharing with the world my foodie adventures. The food, the people , the drinks and the fun were so great I just had to write about it and let people know of this awesome event and here I am again a year later.
This years taste of Mexico was only one session unlike last year's daytime session and a night time session. It was still a pretty great event, although I did miss the family feel of the daytime event where you could just sit on the grass and enjoy your bites while watching the band or dancers- that was really nice!
The night time event is an adults only affair were Mexican food lovers unite to try tacos from all over the city and drinks, boy there are drinks. Now tacos are not the only food at Taste of Mexico though. Sample Mexican favorites like moles, chiles en nogada, tostadas, ceviches, margaritas, micheladas, aguachiles, paletas, flan, churros even Pan de Muerto to celebrate the upcoming Dia de los Muertos!
I can't say enough good things about this event, this is one I will attend year after year. It just ads so much more to the list of things that make October so great for me. Hope to see you there next year!
