It's another fun and playful year at Queen Mary's Dark Harbor and they have an all new maze! "INTREPID" where I met the mastermind, the creator and now the protector of the Queen Mary. The Iron Master has returned to reclaim the precious vessel he built, fiercely guarding it from the antics of the freaks and ghouls. I stepped aboard his maddening Journey and I gotta tell you that was one of my favorite mazes at Dark Harbor. Many parts of the ship were exposed in this maze like the propellers and iron pipes of course. You walk in these dark isolated parts of the ship with the water just beneath you when you start to hear the clincking of the iron master waiting for you to come in. I wont spoil it for you but it was really great! There were stairs and pops and and when you get startled it's kind of hard to keep track of the details so you run and try to get the hell out of there. I've attended these mazes for years now and I don't get scared much , but this one got me good a few times even if there were no maze just walking in this part of the ship in the dark at night is scary enough already.
My second favorite maze was "CIRCUS BIG TOP TERROR" I stepped right up to experience the world’s most horrifying circus! Luckily I'm not afraid of clowns so this maze was fun and playful for me. Lots of disorienting illusions, maniacal magic tricks that had me sort of afraid and chuckling through the whole maze. This maze is sure to shock, stun, and startle even the bravest of you souls out there.
Other mazes at Dark Harbor this year "DEADRISE THE DEPTHS OF DARKNESS" , "SOULMATE TIL DEATH DO US Part", "DEADRISE", & "LULLABY - HUSH HUSH DON'T CRY" the maze that leads you into the pool of the ship where Scary Mary drowned years ago and has been haunting the ship since. She is gone , but certainly not forgotten and she only comes out to play every October which means you don't have much time left to set a play date with her before she goes back in to hiding
