If you're an Angeleno It's clear that the homeless situation is a big problem in our city. It used to be a thing we only saw when we braved the drive near skid row, but everywhere we look now we see tents lined up and set up in places we never imagined possible. Whatever the reason is these people have landed in these situations they need help rebuilding their lives and you can be part of the solution all while chowing down on LA's finest. The Masters of Taste are giving you that opportunity to make a difference in your city. Philanthropy has never tasted this good.
Imagine an after noon on the field of the Rose Bowl Stadium enjoying the finest fare this city has to offer from over 40 Culinary Masters. Walk the beautiful green field while taking pleasure in delectable sweets, sipping on wine from local wineries, beers from local breweries and cheers-ing to cocktails made by LA's best bartenders. There will also be pressed juices, hand roasted coffee, live entertainment and opportunity for great memories to be made and hopefully the start to a yearly tradition for you - making your foodie dreams come true all the while making dreams come true for the homeless of Los Angeles.
The Masters of Taste 2nd Annual Event will be held Sunday, May 7th and 100 % of the Proceeds will directly benefit Union Station Homeless Services, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to helping the homeless men, women and children rebuild their lives. Last year, Masters of Taste 2016 raised over $435,000 for Union Station Homeless Services, and this year Masters of Taste hopes to grow that number to $560,000.
