Santa Anita Park Debuts It's First Winter Fest

Updated: Sep 24, 2020

Santa Anita Park kicked off the holiday season with it's very first Winterfest on Sunday, November 23, 2018. The infield of the track was decked out with a giant Christmas tree, holiday lighting and music, an ice skating rink, a snow globe photo booth and of course Santa himself.

The Ice skating rink was a hit! Families gathered to test their balance on the ice, some twirled, some fell, but everyone had a blast and then enjoyed treats rink-side in the cabanas. Cabanas come with a private server, cozy seating and the option to purchase food, sweets, and drinks, which include warm beverages, beer, wine and soft drinks.

For those who needed a break from the ice, there were shopping vendors to get a few Christmas gifts crossed off of the shopping list and food trucks to feed the hungry bellies and for animal lovers and kids a petting zoo, pony rides and horse drawn carriage rides.
