This place is great and very popular with locals, being a local myself I'm kicking myself for not having tried it sooner, although if I had discovered it sooner, would I still be able to kick myself? I think not. So, I've lived just a couple of miles away from The Sushi and pass by it frequently and have never even seen the place before which is so weird because the Mediterranean place next door has been on my radar for a while now, but just yesterday I was craving sushi and was on my way to my favorite sushi spot in Larchmont, but I didn't really have that much time to make the drive out to Larchmont Village so my husband suggested this place that he had bookmarked on Yelp it was All-You-Can-Eat and a lot closer. I read the reviews and they looked great , but I had never really loved AYCE sushi places the quality and flavor just never is really there, so I was a little skeptical also the location was so random, but I was a good sport and decided to try the new place. We arrived and the place was poppin' for lunch time, almost all the tables filled, that was a good sign and we were seated quickly, the waiter explained to us how it all worked since it was only two of us, the rolls would be a little smaller, which I was okay with because I really wanted to try a lot of them, we ordered and the sushi came quick, but the rolls were still quite large and had such large and fresh pieces of fish on top, it wasn't all just rice. I was shocked, it was all so good and all for just $24.95 lunch $28.95 Dinner AYCE, ( you can buy by the each as well) I couldn't believe it. It's such a great deal! I'm already planning my next visit and all the people I'm going to come back with. My hubby did good with this find. If you find yourself in the North Hollywood, Valley Glen area, definitely check this place out, you'll be happy you did.
