The Ford Theatre is one of the best theatres in Los Angeles to watch a show. As much as I also love the Hollywood Bowl for outdoor concert venues, The Ford is just the perfect cozy size that every seat in the house is a great one. Just like the Hollywood Bowl, The Ford allows you to bring your own picnic to enjoy at the theatre, but let's face it we don't always have time to pack a picnic and going to dinner before the show elsewhere is just a pain, you end up getting stuck with terrible parking and you run the risk of arriving late to the show with that notorious LA traffic, so make life easier on yourself and just arrive early, get a great parking spot just steps away from the entrance and eat at the Bodega on property.
This year the Bodega is serving up Venezuelan Arepas from The Arepa Stand, Pizza from Speak Cheezy and boneless fried chicken thighs and potatoes from Forage
The Ford opens up 90 minutes before showtime and there are plenty of pinic tables on property. You can bring in your own wine, beer, unopened water and drinks, (no hard liqour), but cocktails are served on property.
Speaking of cocktails, they have great batched cocktails, wine, beer and cold beverages in stock at the Bodega and other bars on property.
